MAHARAJA OSAKA Details/Osaka Nightclub
Since its founding, MAHARAJA has been a place that caters to all generations, and nurtures their hopes and dreams. This policy has long held steadfast, and continues to do so since the April 2014 re-opening of MAHARAJA OSAKA.
The first branch opened in Osaka Minami in 1982, followed by branches in Sapporo, Kyushu, Okinawa, and in 1989 a branch on Hawaii's Honolulu island. There are 48 branches nationwide.
A rank above the rest, MAHARAJA is the club and disco where adults can be social in a pressure-free zone.
Floor capacity is 600 persons, but the first and second basement levels are connected by open stairways that give the club an even more spacious feel. Behind the DJ booth sits a giant projector, and a raised platform for standing on.
Popular international artists such as Michael Fortunati, CHERRY, and John Robinson, as well as fantastic national artists such as Komuro Tetsuya, YU-KI & DJ KOO from TRF, Tahara Toshihiko, Hayami Yuu, DJ Ai, DJ Ami Suzuki, and Bro.KORN are frequent performers, playing a wide variety of genres and hosting various events monthly.
Located in Osaka's Kita-ku, MAHARAJA is frequented by businessmen in their 30s and 40s after work, and elegant ladies 25 and over. It is situated on the Higashi-dori shopping street, near its many shops and restaurants, and thus is a popular spot for clubgoers partying after work.
