WORLD KYOTO Details/Kyoto Nightclub
In July, 2001 in Shijo Kawaramachi, Kyoto with the motto of ``Making the Kyoto valley hotter``, World Kyoto opened representing the Kyoto area. The location is perfect, it is only a 1 minute walk from the Hankyu Kawaramachi number 5 exit. Including house and techno, you can enjoy a wide range of genres depending on the day or the floor. Of course including Japan's artists, we also have many performances from top ranking international DJ's so be sure to check our schedules. But the main thing we'd like to mention is that we also have many contents that change with the seasons. The quality and quantity of our events are the best. This is one of the reasons we have been able to lead Kyoto's club scene for 15 years.
On the weekday only one floor is open but ``BAR SEX`` opens on the holiday. And during events our maximum 3 floors open with the maximun capacity of approximately 1,000 people. The main floor in the basement has the atmosphere of middle-age Europe with the image of a ``hidden church`` and even though the floor is located in the basement the arch design on the ceiling gives off the feeling of openness.
We would definitely like to recommend World Kyoto for people who are going clubbing for their first time. We wanted to create a place where not only can people have fun and listen to music but a place where people can socialize so we created a dance floor and also a lot of seating area where people can relax. The bar space is especially big and not only can you dance but you can also enjoy conversations with the people you meet. First time clubbers can experience not only dancing but all kinds of ways to enjoy the club.
The main type of customers are mainly between their 20s through 30s and since Kyoto is also a travel destination, we also have many foreign customers compared to anything else. Because of this we have a very friendly staff that make the club very exciting. Also only because it's Kyoto, we also have frequent visits from Maiko and Geisha's. World Kyoto is a place you can't miss when in the Kyoto area! Please stop by!
